Cristian Aguilar
CEO / Founder
Born in Cuba, Cristian Aguilar arrived in the United States at age 15 with nothing but a vision and a deep desire to build a better future. He began his journey as an apprentice mechanic at Mercedes-Benz in Cuba but quickly realized the limitations of life on the island. After leaving his family behind, Christian immersed himself in welding and fabrication, spending countless hours learning the craft through hands-on experience and study. Working alongside his father-in-law in truck yards sparked a true passion for the industry.
That passion led to the founding of Evolution Welding & Fabrication—named to reflect his mission to grow, innovate, and set a new standard in metalwork. What began in the backyard with repairs and builds quickly outgrew its space, prompting Christian to take a leap of faith and open a warehouse with just two employees and a bold vision. Today, he continues to lead Evolution with dedication, focusing on producing high-quality products and delivering unmatched customer service. His story is one of perseverance, purpose, and the unwavering belief that with faith and hard work, anything is possible.
Yunior Alfonso
President
Originally from Cuba and raised in the U.S. since the age of 10, Yunior Alfonso has built a diverse career grounded in sales, customer service, and a passion for business. His professional journey began selling shoes and cell phones at the mall, later gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry, including hotels, casinos, and restaurants. In his early 20s, he transitioned into the automotive industry, where he thrived in sales and eventually moved into finance—sharpening his skills in communication, leadership, and client relations.
Known for his dedication to creating lasting customer relationships, Yunior brings that same energy and commitment to his role at Evolution Welding & Fabrication. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, sports with his kids, ranch life, reading, and connecting with others. Guided by faith, discipline, and purpose, Yunior is passionate about helping Evolution grow into a nationally recognized name known for excellence, trust, and relentless drive.
Darian Alvarez
Warehouse Manager
Originally from Santa Clara, Villa Clara, Cuba, Darian Alvarez holds degrees in Accounting and Finance as well as Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering. Before joining Evolution Welding & Fabrication, he worked as a Lead Supply Specialist, a role focused on logistics and procurement. Passionate about continuous growth, Darian is committed to advancing his professional development, including improving his English skills. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and practicing marksmanship, blending precision and discipline in both his career and hobbies.
Yairelis Aguilar
Accounting Manager
As the General Accountant and International Buyer at Evolution Welding & Fabrication, Yairelis plays a key role in managing financial operations and coordinating global importing services. With a strong attention to detail and a passion for logistics, she brings efficiency and structure to the company’s growth. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to music, cooking, and dancing. Enthusiastic about her role, she looks forward to growing with the Evolution family and contributing to the expansion of future business ventures.
Lucas Velez
Sales Manager
Born in New York City and raised in Puerto Rico, Lucas Velez brings over 21 years of experience as a Master Barber, known for his expertise in grooming, skincare, and precision. Beyond his background in personal care, Lucas brings valuable knowledge in hydraulic fluid power, wireless systems, network administration, and customer service—skills that contribute directly to his role in quality control and operations at Evolution Welding & Fabrication. He is also the founder of 7th Gill, a performance lifestyle brand for water sports and cycling. A proud father, man of faith, and self-taught entrepreneur, Lucas is committed to building brands that reflect excellence, attention to detail, and authenticity.
Joseph Vence
Sales Manager
At just 24 years old, Joseph Vence has spent the past two years contributing to the success of Evolution Welding & Fabrication with dedication and drive. Known for his reliability and team spirit, Joseph takes pride in being part of a growing company focused on quality and craftsmanship. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf—a personal passion that allows him to unwind, challenge himself, and spend meaningful time with friends and family.
